It's the night before my surgery and I can't sleep. It's going to be tough not being able to care for my family or myself, but I have a very supportive husband who says he's going to pamper and spoil me for the 8 to 10 days I'll be out of commission.
I'm scared of getting the I.V. in my hand because they sting; scared of waking up and being in pain and not being able to walk without pulling the incision, and most of all incase I hate the results.
I wear a 36D to 36DD and my PS is pretty sure I have enough volume for just a lift and won't need implants. I see so few 'after' photos of BL with no augmentation that look appealing! I'm terrified I'm going to end up with a smaller version of the saggy boobs I have now.. ugh.
My daughter weighed 10 pounds and my obstetrician voted we go straight to cesarean since she measured a lot wider than my pelvic outlet (thank you kind surgeon!). So my tummy is pretty deflated looking. I breast fed her for a full year with no other milk or cereal the entire time, so the buddha baby did a number on my breasts along with blowing out my tummy. It's going to be great to get my pre-baby body back and feel confident in nighties, tank tops and swimsuits again. Hopefully I'll be up and posting again very soon.
